About Me

I’m Solveig, a writer, journalist and content strategist working across European markets. My work sits at the intersection of editorial thinking and brand communication. I help brands adapt their content for the German market
so it doesn’t lose clarity, tone or intention in the process.
Because even the strongest content can fall flat, when it’s simply transferred instead of truly adapted. My role is to make sure it holds up and feels just as considered, wherever it’s read.

I’ve always been interested in how things come across. Not just what is being said, but how it’s perceived.
Working across editorial and brand content, I kept noticing the same shift: Content that felt clear, intentional and effortless in one market would lose that quality in another. Not because it was suddenly wrong, but because something in the tone, structure or rhythm no longer felt quite right. Or simply, because everyday life is very different. (Notice, how I’m in Greece in the picture? My life there is very different, I can assure you!)
That difference can be subtle, but it changes everything. Today, I work with brands across European markets to make sure their content doesn’t lose that edge. Not by translating it,
but by adapting it, so it feels just as considered,
no matter where it’s read. Because if something is meant to feel premium, it should feel that way everywhere.
